The show’s sixth season has already ended.
But for those of us who have been following the show for the last decade, there’s no question that it’s gone off the air.
Its creators and writers have gone on to create other shows, like Friends, which is probably why we still remember the Simpsons’ trademark jokes and parodies.
And while it’s been the subject of some speculation for some time now, the fate of the show is actually going to be decided soon.
On February 1, the BBC announced that it will be ending the show, which has been airing since 1996.
The BBC’s decision was made to end the show “to preserve its long-standing cultural legacy, and to give the BBC more time to explore new ideas and new ways to bring audiences together,” the BBC said in a statement.
It’s unclear when the show will be put back on the air, but the BBC has made no other announcements about the show’s future.
