A new set of instructions has been added to the official Disney 11 dress code guidelines, and it requires a minimum of 11 different costumes to be considered eligible for the rewards program.
The guidelines require that 11 costumes are worn for all eleven days of a calendar year, and 11 of those 11 costumes must be based on a specific character.
The following are 11 specific characters that Disney says must be part of the 11 costume requirements: Bart, the Incredible, Donald Duck, Pluto, the Invisible Woman, Pocahontas, the Jungle Book, Belle, Daisy and Goofy.
The first of those costumes, “The Incredible,” is based on the Walt Disney Company’s Escape from Tomorrow character from the movie.
The Winnie the Pooh character is based off the Fritz Lang character, and the Snow White character is a parody of the original Disney film, The Little Mermaid.
“The Invisible Woman” is based in part on the character Wanda Maximoff from the film, as well as a Finn and Ariel character.
Pocahonta is based on the character of Pocohontas from the popular animated film The Little Mermaid, as well as the character of Ariel from the animated film, Aladdin.
Daisy is based on Fiona from the Alvin and the Chipmunks cartoon, as she is one of the characters in the movie.
Goofy is based on Gustavo Fring from the Disney Channel show The Mighty Ducks, as is Pete Diddy from the cartoon, and the Wizard of Oz character, Mr. Gold.
Disney also offers a list of 11 other costumes that can be worn, but you can’t actually walk into a store and buy one.
These costumes are not allowed as rewards, and are not required for completing the 11 requirements.
