DENVER – A child’s eyes will be dazzled as they look up at a dazzling array of color in this Denver neighbourhood.
But that’s not the only attraction at Eleva, a theme park with theme park flair.
Eleva is home to the Denver International Festival of Colors, an annual colouring competition that showcases some of the city’s most daring designs.
There are a few new colours to try out this year, such as the red-orange-green colour palette of the Colorado National Guard, which is one of the more exciting colours for kids.
The festival starts in May and runs through the end of October.
For the festival, kids have a chance to take part in a competition where they get to design a colour palette.
One of the competition’s designers, Andrew Fong, says they wanted to see how different colours could be applied to existing designs.”
This is a really fun and fun way to design,” he said.”
This is just about taking things that are already on the street and changing them up a little bit and making them a little more colourful.
“Elevahart says they have been able to find new colour palettes for some of their existing designs, which will be available to the public for a limited time from May 1 to October 25.
The colours include a red-pink, green-brown and gold-brown.
The festival has been running since 1993, and has taken place at Denver International Airport since 2008.
